The data of the 1999-survey are available free of charge and can be obtained at the GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences in Cologne through their online download and analysis facility ZACAT. Please click on the + sign placed before the European Values Study of your choice in the left frame of the ZACAT website.

In addition, the 1999 data have been integrated in one dataset together with the 1981 and 1990 waves of the European Values Study and the four waves of the World Values Surveys, carried out in 1981-1984, 1989-1993, 1994-1999 and 1999-2004. Read more.
