The European Values Study has four waves:

• 1981
  
• 1990
  
• 1999
  
• 2008

The first three EVS waves (1981, 1990 and 1999) have been integrated in one dataset together with the four waves of the World Values Surveys (1981-1984, 1989-1993, 1994-1999 and 1999-2004). For more information, see integrated surveys 1981-2004.

All EVS data is available for research from the GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences in Cologne through their online download and analysis facility ZACAT. Please click on the + sign placed before the European Values Study of your choice in the left frame of the ZACAT website.
