EVS data of the first 3 waves (1981, 1990 and 1999) is available for research from the GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences in Cologne through their online download and analysis facility ZACAT.
ZACAT is a social science data portal allowing you to search for, browse, analyse and download social science survey data. Use of ZACAT is free of charge. Analysing, creating tables and downloading requires registration.
Downloading data
Below you can download the data of the first 3 waves of the European Values Study. Data from the 2008 European Values Study surveys will be made available in the near future (expected release: June 2010).
Integrated surveys
Three waves of the European Values Study (1981, 1990 and 1999) have been integrated in one dataset together with the four waves of the World Values Surveys, carried out in 1981-84, 1980-93, 1989-1993 and 1999-2004.
